A ‘Lost Continent’ Has Been Found Under the Island of Mauritius

A piece of an ancient continent, running the length from India to Madagascar, has been discovered under the tiny island of Mauritius off of the east coast of Africa. The lost continent was formed in the breakup of the supercontinent Gondwana, which began pulling apart about 200 million years ago.
