The Longyou caves are found close to a village on the Lan River in Zhejiang in China and they are a series of huge artificial caverns, which may have been built by Anunnaki and show construction techniques that are found the world over.
More Than 1,000,000 Cubic Meters Of Rock Was Moved During Construction
Scientists said that they have determined that the cave system may have been constructed by the Anunnaki due to five characteristic signs. These are the fact that they were made by man, they are over 2,000 years old, are close to the ground surface and the rock surrounding them is medium to hard. Up to now, there have not been any historical records found that actually talk about the construction process, which would have been monumental, a process that would have involved removing more than 1,000,000 cubic meters of rock.
One of the underground sites that have been the most mysterious was located close to the village of Shiyan Beicun in Zhejiang province during the 1990s. It was discovered in China when farmers uncovered an underground complex accidentally.
The Longyou caverns belong to a group of ancient underground caverns that are very large and researchers have said that they had been hand carved in the pelitic siltstone in Quxian Formation of the Upper Cretaceous. Extensive research has gone into the caverns and scientists have come to the conclusion that the cave system is more than 2000 years old and large spanning. The site has drawn the attention of a lot of specialists from around the globe, including the USA, Singapore and Poland.
Scientists have been baffled by the fact the five caverns have managed to keep their integrity for more than 2000 years. This is something that no one has been able to explain to date. It is thought that the cave complex was initially just a single cave. However, upon further investigation, it was found that the cave is a network of caverns that form 36 underground chambers, all of which are located underneath the surface and all of them has been hand carved.
Caverns Are Ninth Wonder Of The World In China
In China, the caverns have been dubbed as the ninth wonder of the world. But just what makes the grotto caves stand out? The sheer size of them is one thing that puts them above other findings. Along with this, there has not been any ancient text found that talks about the huge underground city and the creation of it. Researchers do not have any idea who was behind the creation of the cavern, nor what purpose it was built for or when the cave system was made
One of the biggest mysteries that have surrounded the caverns is the level of precision in which they were made. The complex takes up around 2,000 square meters underground and the tallest point of the cave system is more than 30 meters high.
Height Of Caverns Is 30 Meters At Highest Point
There are many ways in which the caves are notable. The underground caves are huge when taking into account the fact that they were man made. The floor area of each of the caves is said to be more than one thousand square meters and heights go up to as much as 30 meters, with the total area being 30,000 square meters. The ceiling, along with the surfaces of the walls and pillars, has all been completed in exactly the same way. They are parallel bands or courses that are around 60 centimeters in width, all of which have chiseling marks that are parallel and which were set at an angle of around 60 degrees to the axis. They do not seem to interconnect and have somehow managed to keep their structural integrity.
Caverns Were Made Using Precision, With Intricate Designs
The researchers have been amazed by the fact that parts of cave 1 happen to have been distributed symmetrically. The corners are precise and they are of stone which has been finely carved. This is something that has puzzled scientists, who have been making great effort to find text relating to the building of the caves, but up to now have failed to do so.
Researchers can only come to the conclusion that the Longyou grotto caves are momentous and magnificent and delicate and careful designs show that sophisticated construction had been used by those building the system. The precision in even the smallest of details shows superior craftsmanship, which should not have been possible many thousands of years ago.
