Hindu scripts dating from several millenniums ago appear to claim that some sort of weapon looking like a nuclear bomb exploded on the Earth about 12 millenniums ago. The Mahabharata and the Ramayana are Sanskrit sagas dating 800 or 900 years before Christ and are records of the Kurukshetra War and the fight between Rama and the demon Ravana.
COULD A NUCLEAR BOMB HAVE EXPLODED ON EARTH 12 MILLENNIUMS AGO?
There are parts from Mahabharata claiming there was a nuclear war: “A single projectile charged with all the power in the Universe…An incandescent column of smoke and flame as bright as 10,000 suns, rose in all its splendor…it was an unknown weapon, an iron thunderbolt, a gigantic messenger of death which reduced to ashes an entire race”.
Nothing unusual because lot of religions have epic stories and poems that include blending something that really happened with imaginary situations. Parts of this epic mention destructive weapons having enormous power and blazing enormous parts of land and great losses of life like the effects from a nuclear bomb. What is incredible about it, is a radiation found in the region of Rajasthan in the 90ies. A new housing settlement was planned on the site, but while digging they came across an ancient city that was highly irradiated. This made researchers to conclude that a nuclear bomb fell there around eight to twelve millenniums ago which tore the city to the ground and caused about 500 000 people to die.
There is no explanation how could a nuclear bomb have been made at that time and there are no proofs of what kind of technology they had then. Adding to this is the hole in the vicinity of Bombay that could also be a place where a nuclear bomb exploded. Kisari Mohan Ganguli explained that the bodies discovered in the ancient city were found in a condition which suggests that the people died of some instant death and that they were not buried, but were lying on the streets. In those times no weapons existed that could bring such destruction. Only nuclear weapon could have left such consequences and that kind of radiation.
